Tesiup - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 January 2026

Introduction

Tesiup is a web-based product that uses artificial-intelligence (AI) models to analyze and improve the user experience (UX), design and messaging of existing web pages. We combine a screenshot and the Document Object Model (DOM) of a page to create a context-aware analysis that scores your site across four pillars - Value Proposition, UX & Flow, Design, and Trust & Credibility - and generates a plan to improve clarity, trust and conversions. We take privacy seriously and want you to understand how we collect, use and protect your information. This policy explains our practices and your rights. By using Tesiup's services, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

1. Personal information

We collect certain personal information when you interact with Tesiup:

  • Account details: If you create an account, we collect your email address and a user-identifier. When you sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Google), we receive your email and an identifier from that provider.
  • Billing information: For paid products we collect billing details (billing name, tax information) and pass your payment card information to our payment processor. We do not store full credit-card numbers; Stripe handles payment processing.

2. Project information

  • Website URLs and content: When you ask us to analyze a page, we store the URL, capture a screenshot and extract the visible text and DOM structure. These inputs may include content from your site that you control.
  • Analysis results: We generate scores, insights and suggested copy or redesigns based on your inputs. We store these results so you can view them later.

3. Usage and technical data

  • Usage data: Like many services, we log how you interact with Tesiup - page views, feature usage, button clicks and other events. We use this data to understand which features are most valuable and to improve the product.
  • Technical data: We collect information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type/version and screen resolution. We also collect diagnostic information about errors and performance.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Tesiup uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our services. Our cookies fall into the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies: Required for core functions such as authentication and session management. These cookies do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies: We use a self-hosted analytics service to understand how users interact with the platform. These cookies collect usage patterns, session identifiers and event data. Users in jurisdictions that require opt-in will be presented with a cookie banner.
  • Functional cookies: Remember preferences like language or theme. Disabling these may impact convenience but not core functionality.

We do not use marketing cookies to track users across other websites. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we collect information

We collect information:

  • Automatically: Through logging and analytics services that record usage, performance and error data.
  • Provided by you: When you register, purchase a product or interact with customer support.
  • Via third-party authentication: When you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive your email address and an identifier.

How we use your information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide the service: Create and manage your account, deliver analyses, store your reports and process payments.
  • Improve the product: Analyze usage patterns, identify bugs and understand feature adoption to improve our tools.
  • Communicate with you: Send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account notices) and respond to support requests.
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud: Monitor for suspicious activity, enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

We do not train our proprietary AI models using your prompts or website data without your explicit consent. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage data to improve the service.

Sharing your information

We share information only as necessary to operate Tesiup:

  • Payment processing: We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe handles your payment information and transaction details.
  • Cloud and database services: We use cloud providers (e.g., Supabase or an equivalent) to store user accounts, project data and logs. These providers act as processors on our behalf.
  • AI vendors: When you request a deep analysis or copy rewrite, your page content and prompts may be sent to AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) to generate results. These providers process the data solely to deliver the requested output.
  • Analytics provider: We use a self-hosted analytics tool similar to PostHog to collect usage metrics. The analytics data is stored on our own servers and not shared with third parties.
  • Email delivery: Transactional emails are sent via a service such as Resend or another email delivery platform.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to marketers or advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.

Data retention

We retain your personal information while your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within ninety (90) days, except where we must retain it for legal reasons. Usage logs and backups may persist for up to ninety days.

Data security

We implement industry-standard measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration or destruction. Measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
  • Secure authentication and access controls.
  • Regular security audits and updates.
  • Role-based access and least-privilege policies.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for promptly notifying us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights under privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your personal information.

  • Opt-out: For residents of California and similar jurisdictions, opt-out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal data).

Children's privacy

Tesiup is not intended for children under 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it.

International data transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers outside of your country. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this policy and applicable laws.
